Debates “environment” for the municipal elections of Châteauguay

2 environmental debates take place simultaneously in Châteauguay and Hudson as part of the municipal elections, in autumn 2021.

The MARE is proud to have given a helping hand to the groups “In Chateauguay, what city do we want?” as well as to Nature Hudson and Sauvons Sandy Beach for holding these 2 met.

In Chateauguay, environ 75 citizens attended the debate in personGo green, in addition to people who followed him on Facebook Live. The 3 candidate for the mayor's office (Eric Allard, Lucie Lamoureux and Nathalie Simon) accepted the invitation.

Debates “environment” for the Hudson Municipal Elections

During the debate “Environment” organized byNature Hudson andSave Sandy Beach to which the MARE contributed, around 50 citizens were present to hear the positions of the 3 candidate.e.s (Chloe Hutchinson, Helen Kurgansky and Jamie Nicholls) at Hudson Town Hall.

Furthermore, 150 people attended via Facebook Live. We can therefore speak of a great success that helps to place environmental issues at the heart of priorities..
