4 woodlands to protect in the MRC of Deux-Montagnes
The citizens of Saint-Joseph-du-Lac, Two-Mountains, Pointe-Calumet and Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac unite, with the support of MARE to denounce the abusive destruction and irreversible losses of their natural environments by the same promoter.
– In Deux-Montagnes, the wooded area of rue de la Terrasse Goyer.
– In Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac, the wooded area of Boulevard des Promenades.
– In Saint Joseph-du-Lac, the tray 3 possibly replaced by the densification of the Plateau 1 and the Laviolette woodland.
– In Pointe-Calumet, the wooded area of 50th avenue.
With the latest report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) which came out on 28 February 2022 and who sounds the red alert, citizens can no longer remain silent and allow the destruction of natural environments to continue without denouncing it.
