The MARE nursery takes root !

The surplus of oak acorns generously donated by our members last year gave birth to beautiful, healthy little oak trees. !

They were transplanted into cultivation mounds to spend the winter there..

On in name 161 !!! A good start for the nursery which will be used, among other things, to produce and accommodate trees for possible planting!

MARE plants trees in Coteau-du-Lac

The Saturday 7 October 2023, despite the flood that hit the region, MARE was present in Coteau-du-Lac to carry out the first planting of trees fromour nursery !!!

Those are 64 small trees (red oaks, white spruces and red maples) which were planted in collaboration with theCity of Coteau-du-Lac.

And all this on around 10 different sites :
