Industrial world or natural world
The 15 last september, when the MARE submitted a request for support for the Declaration of Climate Emergency at the Salaberry-de-Valleyfield municipal council meeting, Michaël presented a request to improve the protection of the fauna of Parc de la Barrière as part of the real estate development taking place in this territory.
The MARE is proud to support the citizens of Parc de la Barrière in their efforts.
At the end of his speech, Michaël read a poetic text that he wrote himself. It was a very rich moment, combining poetry and environmental struggle.
We live in serious times, we must realize the gravity of the situation and end the exploitation, otherwise it will be extinction.
We are at the crossroads, tomorrow is uncertain. Our choices, our desires, our actions, will determine the future.
The majority of life has been destroyed in the name of gain without regard for the morrow.

We have to change the way we think. Build for life, not for profit.
Less infrastructure and more nature. What do we want an industrial world or a natural world ?

Human beings must take charge of our own destiny.
We must, for the future in the making, finally, glorify life and not contempt for it.
